Roma collects three points on the road to Florence defeating Fiorentina in a thrilling end of the match. Fonseca praised the midfielder and celebrated an important win.

Right after the burning home defeat to Milan, many thought the Champions League race was over for the Lupi. But today’s match at the Stadio Franchi brings back the necessary confidence in the group led by the Portuguese coach.

Although the first half was a little soporific, in the second 45 minutes different emotions brought the fans to a late celebration. Another convincing performance for Spinazzola who was the architect of a wonderful goal and an unfortunate play that conceded the equalizer to the Viola.

The Giallorossi deserved the win even if Diawara‘s offensive effort stunned Prandelli‘s men when the referees were almost ready to show the added time. The midfielder of the Lupi played a consistent match right in front of the backline but he has also been proactive in attacking offensive spaces.

Diawara was out for a long time but then, when he returned, Villar was playing well. Today, beyond the goal, he played a great match. I am happy to have one more alternative.
