The President of the Polish Football Federation believes Roma is making the right choice going for Milik. Boniek likes the new project of the Lupi.

Former Roma star and current President of the Polish Football Federation has been interviewed by the famous Italian radio station Centro Suono Sport.

When asked if he had talked to Milik, Zibi Boniek stated:

The player is fit. I talked to him. He is happy to join Roma, the team that wanted him the most. In life, you always have to go where you are welcomed. Now let’s see how he will be able to contribute to the Roma growth.

Zibi Boniek said to Centro Suono Sport

When the deal for Arkadiusz Milik will be made official, the current captain of the Giallorossi, Edin Dzeko, will move to Juventus. Boniek would have liked to see them play together.

They are very similar players in some respects. Perhaps, Milik has a better shot. The difference is that Dzeko is more an assist-man while Milik is more a finisher. But I’m not worried about the offense, we have to strengthen the defense. I like the young team project, but only if the young players have quality.
