The Portuguese coach seemed to be really upset about yesterday’s performance. Roma lost another home match but Fonseca wants a reaction from his men.
The Roma fans are in disbelief. The Giallorossi suffered another burning defeat at the Stadio Olimpico (Roma-Udinese 0-2) and the disappointment of the fans is justified by a season played without rhythm and confidence.
The team seems to be tired and not united anymore. The qualification for the next edition of the Champions League is practically impossible albeit the Portuguese coach still believes his men must keep fighting for their seasonal goals.
When Roma TV asked Paulo Fonseca about the current moment of his team, the coach stated:
It’s tough to explain…we didn’t start the match well and we suffered a goal. The red card made it more complicated but we had a reaction. We created more chances in the second-half but we left more space available and it was tough without a man.
The coach was selected to build something important and he firmly believes in his project.
I still believe in it. We created an identity. It’s a tough moment now but we still have seasonal goals and we must keep fighting.
