Head to Sassuolo with three new talented players. The Giallorossi have now more options and quality. Roma’s sporting director Petrachi filled the gap left by Zaniolo giving Fonseca a new right-winger.
The coach of the Giallorossi seems to be happy with his roster at this time albeit, as he stated, “I don’t like the January transfer window because it’s not easy to find the right players.”
But Ibanez, Villar, and Perez seem to be three good additions to his roster. Since the beginning of the season, the former Barcelona man played 13 matches with the Blaugrana scoring 3 goals and 3 assists.
“Charles’ characteristics are in line with the way we play. He is a player with a lot of quality and tactically very smart so I don’t think we’ll have any problems,” Paulo Fonseca said at the press conference ahead of Sassuolo-Roma.
