De Rossi, the true love for Roma in his lovely words

bestino /

The former captain of the Giallorossi spoke about his beloved club again. De Rossi and his Roma, an endless love.

You can leave the Eternal City for a while but when your first thoughts every morning are about your family and your beloved team, that is real love.

A pure feeling that nobody can take away. As a well-known Italian singer sang once, certain loves do not end, they make huge turns and then return.

“My real retirement was my very last day in Trigoria…Leaving my room to go to the Stadio Olimpico I thought: ‘It’s the last time I close this door,’ and it seemed to me I was trembling,” Daniele De Rossi said to GQ Italia.

He represented and still represents, the essence of the fan who has achieved one of his greatest dreams, playing with his beloved club.

Can De Rossi still be important for Roma?

He may be in the future. Although a new American businessman may takeover Roma soon, the former legendary midfielder of the Giallorossi confirms that he never spoke to the group led by Dan Friedkin: “I am not waiting for a new owner to return to Roma.”

Many think and hope to see him on the Roma bench one day, but although that may be one of his future goals (he will study to become a coach), his contribution with an executive role at Roma could be even more important.

His experience, passion, professionalism, and ability to grasp what the fans really care about, may be key factors to solidify the relationship between them and the possible new ownership.

Daniele De Rossi back to Roma would be Friedkin’s perfect first gift for the passionate supporters of the glorious club of the Italian capital.
