Gabriel Omar Batistuta joined the Lupi after playing for many years at Fiorentina. He decided to change to reach the glory and he had the opportunity to win the Scudetto with Roma.
“My whole career has been focused on trying to win at Fiorentina. I did not succeed, but I gave my best,” Batistuta said to the official channel of the Lega Serie A. “Then I decided to change. I moved to Roma and I won. Personally I think I deserved it. I made many sacrifices to get there and I deserved to win, to be able to become champion at least once.”
“I am lucky to be remembered by my fans after all these years. People’s affection is a caress to the heart because it gives meaning to everything you have done and left behind,” former Roma striker Gabriel Omar Batistuta said.
