The KPMG Global Head of Sport firmly believes AS Roma are a very attractive brand in Europe. Sartori spoke about the current value of the Giallorossi.
We can definitely say that James Pallotta wasn’t wrong. Although some fans blame him for not bringing trophies to the Italian capital, the Bostonian investor had always confirmed that the club would have a much higher value because AS Roma are a world-class brand.
Reportedly, a new important investor will be leading the Giallorossi soon. Dan Friedkin should finalize the acquisition of the club in January and start a new professional path in the world of football.
The Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport interviewed KPMG’s Global Head of Sport to know his opinion about the evaluation that appears have been given to the club.
“According to our analysis, the club is worth about €500-550 million…But the key question is: How much is the project of the new stadium worth? That’s how we can justify the difference [in price],” Andrea Sartori said to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“AS Roma have a very high commercial potential, a very appealing brand that not many others have in Europe.”
AS Roma are, therefore, a club with a brand that can develop much more over the years. James Pallotta had the wisdom and ability to take the club to the next level. Dan Friedkin may continue this development process also focusing on winning trophies.
