The Giallorossi played a sloppy match against Wolfsberger at the Stadio Olimpico, 2-2. Roma got access to the UEL knockout stage but Fonseca is unhappy.
The fans were disappointed at the Stadio Olimpico after today’s Europa League match Roma-Wolfsberger ended 2-2. Although the Lupi achieved their UEL first target, Paulo Fonseca expressed his disappointment with the weak performance of his group.
“We reached our main goal but we didn’t play a good match. It was important to win tonight, but we didn’t have the right attitude,” Fonseca said to Sky after the game.
Roma should have done something more and failed to reach the top spot in the group. The Giallorossi made several mistakes in possession and have suffered the greatest tactical ardor of the Austrian team.
