
The Giallorossi are reportedly talking with Manchester United to sign Smalling permanently. The defender has a key role in this negotiation.
Roma’s sporting director Gianluca Petrachi is reportedly trying to finalize the acquisition of the experienced defender. Chris Smalling’s performances clearly satisfied the club of Trigoria and the fans as well. But in order to see him in the eternal city for a long time, Roma are trying to make his move permanent.
Tiziano Pasquali, an intermediary involved in the negotiation that brought Smalling to the Italian capital, was interviewed by the Italian NSL Radio TV: “There’s a negotiation but I want to keep a low profile because we are in a phase were confirmations and answers are awaited.”
The Englishman has a key role in this negotiation as Mr. Pasquali confirmed: “The player’s desire will be decisive.”
Roma reportedly want to sign Chris Smalling permanently. It’s going to be a tough negotiation but Petrachi has the possibility to convince both the player and Manchester United.
