Pastore confident in his quality: Roma wants to finish high up

The Argentine has been playing very well in the last period. Pastore wants to improve and achieve the club’s seasonal goals.

A great player must be able to find the right stimuli even in difficult times. When everything seems to go wrong, it is necessary to react and demonstrate one’s qualities. Javier Pastore’s first season at Roma was compromised by some long and important injuries. But something has changed now!

The offensive midfielder seems to be a totally new player. A great trequartista capable of making the difference. Roma’s fans are very demanding with their idols, but Pastore believes this is the right approach to give the team a great boost. “It’s normal that the fans are always demanding more. This is exactly what I do with the team I support in Argentina,” had said Pastore to Roma TV+ replying to the questions of the fans.

Although Fonseca‘s side has lost the last two games against Borussia M’Gladbach and Parma, the team’s ambitions have not changed. “This squad wants to finish high up and improve in many ways,” had confirmed Javier Pastore to the official TV channel of the club.

The Argentine is now a great addition to Paulo Fonseca’s roster. The Portuguese coach played him as a trequartista so far. But something could change with Lorenzo Pellegrini and Cengiz Under back into the group.

Fonseca may have many options behind the striker. Pellegrini, Zaniolo, Mkhitaryan, and Pastore can play that role and the Turk may be flying on the right offensive flank again.
