The Portuguese coach spoke to the press right after the Europa League clash in Austria. Fonseca praised his side’s attitude.
The Giallorossi collected a point in today’s UEL match against Wolfsberger. Spinazzola scored the opener while Liendl equalized the game with a super goal.
Roma‘s coach remarked the good attitude of his men although they should have scored more goals today. “We faced a good side and we dominated the whole match. We created many chances but we didn’t get our final pass right,” said Paulo Fonseca to Sky after the match.
The Portuguese is happy with his team’s performance though. He knew it wouldn’t be an easy game, especially since he had to replace many players. “Everyone’s attitude was good. I’m pleased with them,” said Fonseca who then explained the reason why his side didn’t score more goals. “We made the wrong choices in the attacking third.”
Roma sits in the first position of Group J having collected four points in two games.
