The Portuguese coach spoke to the press ahead of Roma-Milan and pointed out that the duo Veretout-Mancini could be repeated tomorrow as well.
Roma will face AC Milan tomorrow at the Stadio Olimpico. A very important match for the Giallorossi after their disappointment for the final result of the Europa League clash against Borussia M’gladbach.
Paulo Fonseca spoke to the press today. When asked about possible solutions for the midfield, Roma’s coach clearly opened to the possibility to see Gianluca Mancini and Jordan Veretout play together once more.
“We don’t have many alternatives in that role and he [Mancini] did well there. There’s no need to change…Veretout has more freedom with Mancini. That’s a normal situation and it will probably happen tomorrow as well,” said Fonseca during his press conference.
Roma’s head coach seems to be pretty confident in his players because “the team is doing well and we cannot change what happened in the past. We just have to think about the next match with the right state of mind.”
The Giallorossi are a compact group with a great desire to react!
