Roma’s coach is ready to face Cagliari albeit he knows the next Serie A match will be tough.
Paulo Fonseca is ready for another Serie A challenge. The Portuguese coach held a press conference ahead of Roma-Cagliari.
“It’s going to be tough because Cagliari is playing an excellent season. They are a good team that is getting positive results,” said Fonseca to the press. “We are passing through a complicated period with little time to train and rest.”
But Roma is still an ambitious side and the Portuguese coach confirmed that his team is always playing to win. Although Cristante had stated that the draw in Austria had been a good result, Fonseca doesn’t change his mind, Roma must always fight to win.
“Probably, he said that in a particular context. We are all happy only when we win and we always have the ambition to win regardless of the opponent,” said Fonseca.
