There is Still a Lot For Roma to Achieve

Roma is expecting a very difficult home match against Atalanta. Fonseca knows his side must work hard and improve.

Roma-Atalanta is going to be another important clash for the Giallorossi. Although the Lupi come from a positive moment and collected three consecutive wins, Paulo Fonseca wants his men to keep their feet firmly on the ground.

“My adaptation to Italian football is part of the development process of my team. We have to keep working hard and improve. This is a strong and united group. There is still a lot for us to achieve,” said Fonseca to the press today. “It’s important to maintain some balance.”

The Portuguese coach also praised his two leaders Kolarov and Dzeko for their professionalism and dedication: “They are great players. They are very important to us. They are professionals and athletes who take care of their fitness.”

Atalanta is going to be a tough test for Roma. “We expect a difficult match. They are physically strong and they defend aggressively. They have great individual quality,” stated Paulo Fonseca during the press conference ahead of the next Serie A match Roma-Atalanta.
