The Giallorossi are improving under the directives of their talented coach. Fonseca believes that strength and mobility are key aspects to win and impress.
Today’s football is fast and tactically advanced. The coaches of the Italian league know strategies to endanger any team. Paulo Fonseca is a new Serie A actor but he has already understood that all matches are difficult in Italy.
The Portuguese coach spoke to the press ahead of the Serie A clash Bologna-Roma. When asked about the next couple of matches against the Rossoblue and Atalanta he focused on two main aspects to express his football credo.
“They are two very strong and physical teams. They accept duels and play man against man often,” said Fonseca in today’s press conference. “We focused on these aspects. I believe our players need to show great mobility and quality. We worked on it in the short time we had available. We have to be strong and present in physical duels to face these teams. I believe Roma is ready.”
Cristante and Veretout will start the match tomorrow. Chris Smalling, instead, is not available yet albeit the Englishman should be ready for the next challenge.
