Roma Debuts in the Europa League with a few Changes

The Giallorossi will play their first Europa League match of the season tomorrow at the Stadio Olimpico. Fonseca will make a few changes to his starting team.

Although the 2019-20 campaign has just begun, Paulo Fonseca is ready to implement a moderate player rotation for the next Europa League match. The Portuguese coach has a very good group of players to chose from and he is confident his men will show great offensive football again.

When asked if he was going to change a lot for the next game, Fonseca clearly stated: “We have only a few days before we play the next game and we have to give our players time to recover. So, I’m considering making a few changes. Anyway, all our players are good options to win the game.”

Roma needs to collect the first three points on the international stage. The Turkish side may be a tough obstacle but the Giallorossi have enough quality to impose their football.

“This is an important competition and our goal is to go ahead as far as possible,” said Fonseca to the press today. “We have big ambitions.”
