Alisson: I left my Heart in Rome but the Passion of the Fans is the Same

Former Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker is ready to play the final match of the Champions League. Roma is in his heart. Good memories are not easily forgotten. 

Today, Liverpool faces Tottenham in the Champions League final. The match will take place in Madrid at 3:00 pm (EST). Alisson Becker was waiting for this great stage. The Brazilian wants to prove he is the best goalkeeper in the world. Today, it will be a big step in his professional career.

Alisson spoke to the Italian outlet La Repubblica and, as reported by several Italian portals, the Brazilian stated: “I feel the pressure and the responsibility. But the experience makes me feel comfortable. I learned how to be balanced in managing moments and emotions. But I played better last year at Roma making better saves but without winning anything.”

When asked if he feels good at Liverpool, the Brazilian keeper clearly stated: “I’m fine here although compared to Rome, where I left my heart and the best memories, everything is different…the way of thinking, playing and living. Only the passion of the fans is the same.”

The 26-year-old from Novo Hamburgo (Brazil) is focused on the upcoming Champions League clash: “I trained by watching Dudek’s saves in 2005 final.”
