The Serbian star spoke about the current campaign and the sudden news that struck his dear friend De Rossi and the Roma fans.
Although the Champions League dream is almost gone, Roma are on the road to Sassuolo to face the local side and hope for a miracle.
Aleksandar Kolarov is ready for another Serie A clash but he also spoke about his dear friend Daniele De Rossi who will be leaving his beloved club right at the end of the current campaign.
“I cannot convince the fans that I am Romanistas, but every time I go on the field I try to do my best,” said Kolarov to Dazn.
De Rossi is more than a simple player for the fans of the giallorossi but he is a key piece for his teammates as well. “He is my brother. My first match at Roma was at Bergamo against Atalanta and albeit I know that the captains speak before the matches, I’ve had never seen anyone giving a speech with his transport.”
“I’m a Red Star fan but I’ve never been lucky enough to play my entire career there, instead, he played for his beloved team. In the locker rooms we spoke about our careers and he was hoping to end his here. The club made a choice. In three/four months everyone will realize who De Rossi is and was,” continued Kolarov.
