The Dutch youngster played his first campaign with the Giallorossi, a season of ups and downs. Kluivert spoke to Fox Sports about his adventure in Rome and the departure of Daniele De Rossi.
Everyone expected to see a player ready to make a difference, but his first season didn’t convince the demanding Roma fans. The young Dutch player can do much more and he knows that his next season must be of superior quality. Justin Kluivert is a talented winger eager to learn because Italian football is more challenging and tactically advanced than the Dutch one.
“It’s all different, I’ve experienced everything for the first time but I can learn a lot more. Football is different in Italy. I want to do better next year,” said Kluivert to Fox Sports.
The Dutch youngster also spoke about Daniele De Rossi and his recent farewell at the stadio Olimpico. “His farewell was exciting for him but also for all those who work at Roma. He was a Giallorosso for 18 years. I was just born. He is a legend. In the Netherlands, I don’t know if such a thing would happen. It’s something Italian. It all started when I arrived, he took care of me. Then, I listened very carefully to what he was saying,” continued Kluivert.
