Milan coach Gattuso held a press conference ahead of Milan-Frosinone and also spoke about his dear friend Daniele De Rossi who will be leaving his beloved club at the end of the season.
They spent great moments together with the Italian national team in 2006 and they faced each other in Serie A several times as well. Gennaro Gattuso firmly believes De Rossi is a great man and player.
“Daniele has grown year after year. I have a great relationship with him. He already thinks like a coach because he is curious. I wish him the best,” said Gattuso. “Roma will notice his absence when he will no longer be in the locker rooms. He is great on a human and technical level.”
Gattuso also spoke about the Champions League race and his future. “I don’t have to prove what I’ve done, the numbers speak. I’m only thinking about training and collecting as many points as possible,” continued Milan’s coach.
