Roma Ponder Sabatini Return to Replace Monchi

The giallorossi are reshaping the sport management of the club. After Di Francesco even Monchi is set to leave today.

It seems to be the day of returns in the Italian capital. Claudio Ranieri has landed in the eternal city today. He should sign a formal contract with his beloved side this afternoon at Trigoria.

The Italian coach is undergoing medical examinations at Villa Stuart and then he is expected to join the group at the training center.

Roma’s director of Football Monchi is reportedly set to leave the club today as well. The Spaniard should resign soon and the giallorossi are pondering Sabatini‘s possible return in the Italian capital.

He worked for the giallorossi from 2011 to 2017 when he decided to leave reportedly due to management misunderstandings with President Jim Pallotta. But the 63-year-old has brought to Roma several top talents such as Marquinhos, Lamela, Benatia, Nainggolan, and Salah.

Osti is at the top of Roma’s list as well while the former Milan executive Mirabelli could be an option too.
