Real Madrid is still chasing Roma’s Brazilian star. The capital wall could be demolished by including the Croatian in the deal.
Reportedly, Real Madrid presented a new offer to Roma for Alisson Becker. The Brazil international is valued at €80-100 million. Monchi is not willing to lower the price and €55 m is not going to be effective at this time.
But Kovacic’s recent statement at the Spanish outlet ‘Marca’ opened a new possible scenario. “I want and need to play more. This is why I would like to leave Real Madrid,” stated the Croatian talent.
Mateo Kovacic is a Roma target. A talented player with vision and technique. A thinking mind for Di Francesco’s midfield especially if we think that De Rossi is a 35-year-old and Gonalons could be redirected abroad after his very disappointing performances.
Kovacic included in the deal for Alisson could be a win/win solution for both clubs. Apparently, Roma would be happy to make huge profits with a player bought for €8 million just a couple of years ago while the ‘Blancos’ could lower the cash needed to sign their beloved goalkeeper.
Real Madrid could make a €55 million bid adding Mateo Kovacic in the negotiation.
