The greek defender Manolas was substituted during the Serie A match against Napoli that took place at the Olimpico Stadium in Rome last Saturday.

There’s no pace for Eusebio Di Francesco. Several injures affected his players since the beginning of the season. Probably, the American summer tour complicated the situation. Roma is passing through an unfortunate moment and the Italian coach is forced to change his starting 11 once more.

Ahed of the important Champions League clash against Chelsea, Di Francesco got Manolas‘ medical response. Likely, the Greek defender will be out for a month due to a Grade I strain of his left adductor longus (thigh) muscle.

Therefore, Fazio and Juan Jesus will start at Stamford Bridge. Kolarov will cover the left defensive flank while Peres will operate on the right.

Another unfortunate news for Roma. Eusebio Di Francesco needs to reshape his team again.
