“It is incredible. This was my goal since I’ve left Trigoria to go to Sassuolo. After two years I am finally back here.

I want to thank Roma, the directors, and Monchi because they have always been in close contact with me. They wanted me back here and I am happy about it.”

AS Roma sporting director Monchi confirmed that Pellegrini is a great sign, a player that will be beneficial for the Giallorossi.

“We are proud to be able to bring Lorenzo home because he has gained valuable experience and will be able to contribute to the growth and improvement of this team.”
