“We have to manage this defeat as we did other times in similar situations. We played a good match but Lazio scored in their first offensive action. Almost the same thing happened in the second 45 minutes. Strakosha save the result and we suffered another goal after a deflected shot. These situations increased their self-esteem and damaged us. However, we are still in the second place of the standings and we have to restart on the right path. The team is in a good physical shape. the issue is that when something goes wrong everything is more difficult.

In reference to Ruediger, I have to say that even today he was very upset about the racist chant that we heard coming from the stands. It’s a shame that nowadays these things still happen.

This is not the moment to talk about Kessie. He is a great player that many big clubs are chasing. Now we have to focus on the end of this season.

Totti will have the possibility to assist to several other derbies as a manager. He is the symbol of Rome, this cannot be his last derby.

Spalletti did an extraordinary job. We competed against Juventus so far and we have to congratulate them because they are a great team. Monchi is disappointed about the defeat but he is already working to improve the quality of the roster.”
