AS Roma’s CEO Umberto Gandini was interviewed by Radio Anch’io Sport and he spoke about the overall season played by the Giallorossi and Totti’s situation.
“Yesterday we had a fantastic night. The team played a great match certifying the excellent work of our coach. We have interpreted the match in the right way. This is the game we were waiting for since the match played in Turin. This is a great season for us.
Totti? For Roma-Genoa the stadium is already completely sold out. That will be Totti’s last match as a footballer. It’s going to be a great day. He deserves that kind of celebration for what he has done for football. Yesterday, he celebrated with his teammates but we can understand that’s a difficult moment for him. He will start a new career with Roma and we’ll be close to him.
The team compromised the season in a week stumbling into three negative results. But our season is fantastic. With a bit of luck we would have had a different outcome.”
