“We are very confident after the great away win at San Siro against Milan. We do not need further stimuli to face Juventus. They are probably the best team in the world at this time and we are ready to face them. We are watching several videos to discover their weaknesses because every team has them.

Our performances were different in the course of the year because every match is different. We were unlucky against Lazio because we had several occasions to score but they got the lead the first time they shot on goal. We have to correct these things to improve.

Napoli and Roma are two great teams. Let’s say that we are better than them because we are one point ahead at this time. I believe that we deserve the second place in the standings and the direct qualification to the Champions League. It would be very important to end the season in that position.

AS Roma is a team made of great players and I know that I cannot play every time. Our coach decides which players to field on a weekly basis and we have to accept his decisions. We have to be ready to demonstrate our value when we are required to do so.

I am very happy to be a player of the Italian national team as well. I met up with Ventura in the last stage and I would love to be part of his roster for the upcoming World Cup.”
