UEFA’s revenues up to €4.5 billion not only thanks to Euro 2016

Record revenues for UEFA in the 2015/16 season mainly thanks to the impact of Euro 2016. The European Football Federation consistently saw its turnover go up in the last year. Compared with a year ago, UEFA has more than doubled its turnover from around €2 billion in 2014/15 to €4.579 bln in the 2015/16 season.

UEFA Increase in Revenues

As previously stated, this huge increase in revenues was not only due to the impact of EURO 2016, even if that was the edition with higher revenues in history, but also due to the beginning of the new cycle of European competitions for clubs, especially from the point of view of TV rights’ revenue.
