Roma takes steps forward for Manchester City’s Jesus Navas

The Giallorossi seems to be ready to welcome Jesus Navas in Rome. The Spanish winger is actually playing with Manchester City but his contract is set to expire in June.

According to media in the United Kingdom, Roma would have offered a 3-year contract to Jesus Navas. The Spanish winger seems to be out of Pep Guardiola’s project. In this season, he made only 19 appearances with Manchester City.

Although Sevilla has dropped the broadest hint yet that Jesus Navas will return to play for them in the summer, Roma is trying the final assault. The Spanish press reported last month that Navas had already made the first steps towards returning to his hometown by enrolling his son in a Seville school but the likely new AS Roma sporting director Monchi is trying to convince the strong winger to join the Giallorossi.
