The outstanding Barcelona’s midfielder Ivan Rakitic expressed his point of view about Monchi’s imminent arrival at AS Roma.
In an interview released to the Italian sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Rakitic featured Monchi’s talent:
“If rumors are true and Monchi will join AS Roma I believe that the club will be a candidate to many things. Roma is already a good team but Monchi is impressive.
By purchasing Monchi is like if you get 10 new players due to his knowledge of football, and his dedication. He would be a great pick for a club that is already big but always missed something to reach the glory.
Nothing is sure in football but with Monchi the AS Roma progression could be perfect.”
