Roma-Pallotta: “Main Sponsor? We made a mistake”

“It was a mistake to link the search for the main sponsor with the naming rights to the new stadium. We chose the wrong strategy but we thought to get the approval for the construction of the stadium a year ago. Political changes have led to delays so we have focused on what is called the stadium digital net, contacting many companies for details about the stadium equipment”

– stated the AS Roma president James Pallotta today at the presentation of 2016 AS Roma Social Impact Statement that took place at LUISS university –

“For example, we analyzed the audio systems, if they will be LG, Samsung, or others. What payment system will be used and so on. In recent months the company received 11-12 detailed proposals. This morning at 07:00 am I received a call from an Asian sponsor. Overall I am optimistic about the upcoming season.”
