Napoli’s coach Maurizio Sarri fiercely attacked the Italian football federation due to the lack of protection that the Italian clubs are suffering.
In the post-match press conference, Maurizio Sarri threw a large stone on the Italian football federation. According to Napoli’s coach, the FIGC is responsible for the poor performances of the Italian clubs in the International competitions.
“Let’s think about AS Roma. They suffered an early exit from the Europa League almost exclusively due to the responsibility of the FIGC which drafted an inappropriate calendar. I’m talking about AS Roma and not of Napoli because we were eliminated due to the huge difference between us and Real Madrid. AS Roma was not protected and Spalletti was a gentleman not saying that.”
