2016 AS Roma Social Impact Report – €10-15 million return thanks to club’s investments

The 2016 AS Roma Social Impact Report was presented yesterday at LUISS university in Rome. The president James Pallotta and the general manager Mauro Baldissoni attended the event.

In reference to the 2016 AS Roma Social Impact Report, written by ItaliaCamp in collaboration with the research center LUISS Governance & Sustainability, Roma has estimated a social return of about €10-15 million due to the investments made by the club of Trigoria in the 2015-2016 season.

The 2016 AS Roma Social Impact Report measures the activities carried out for its stakeholders and for the City of Rome and potential externalities from a social, labor, environmental, cultural, and economic point of view.

“With this project – said the AS Roma president James Pallotta – we wanted to start a structured approach to the innovative methodology of social impact measurement. We are aware that every company has the ethical obligation to play an active role in the communities in which it operates.”

The AS Roma president also stated that the club made a mistake to link the search for the main sponsor with the naming rights to the new stadium.
