Roma’s Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny doesn’t know where he will play in the future, although he is happy to stay at Roma.
There are crazy things going on in the transfer market of football players and Wojciech Szczęsny ended up in a vortex that sooner or later will sweep away the clouds clarifying his future. The strong Polish goalkeeper is living his second year on loan at Roma but his future is anything but certain. Arsenal owns his tag and coach – Arsène Charles Ernest Wenger – is the only person on earth that can rule on his destiny.
According to an article written by Francesca Ferrazza – a journalist of the Italian newspaper La Republica – Szczęsny’s future is blurry and even the player doesn’t know anything about it:
“We have high ambitions and we do not settle for the second place. Our roster can compete against Juventus. In reality, I would like to know something more about my future as well. In this moment my future is in Wenger’s hands. He is the man to whom I have entrusted my career since I was 16 years old. In my contract, there are no clauses or purchase options that Roma can expolit. Wenger is the only one that can make the last decision. I am very happy that these two clubs are competing for my performances. Spalletti has always made me feel his confidence and thanks to him I improved a lot”.
