Roma-Mark Pannes: There’s a great enthusiasm, Rome is open for business!

Mark Pannes, the Stadio della Roma CEO, was extremely proud of the team that he grouped to realize one of the greatest projects for the city of Rome. The club will have its new stadium and Pannes has been a key part of this immense project.

Today something has changed in Rome and in Italy as well. The AS Roma new stadium has been presented to the press and media but there is something more…and Mark Pannes knows it. The Italian  bureaucracy, that was used to stop any project for silly reasons, decided to allow the construction of a giant that will change the look and economy of Rome and Italy as well. The Stadio della Roma CEO, Mark Pannes, expressed his opinion about this marvelous stadium that will keep the AS Roma competitive and its fans happy:

“How many people are working on this project? Hundreds of people are involved and they are spread across Italy, the United States, the UK, Asia and Europe. We adopted a pretty simple selection strategy, we monitored the market to see which professionals were the best in the world and we said: “Let’s go get them and have them join the team.”

In two years we have assembled, unquestionably, the most elite group of specialists ever assembled to build a stadium. The work product has been world class and we’re just getting started.”

“Our best achievement? AS Roma has been trying to build a new stadium to play in since 1939 – so there have been a range of challenges! The issues we have faced in this project have forced us to be very creative and very strategic in our approach. The quality of the design and our close collaboration with the Comune di Roma reflect that.”
