Roma refuses Turkish Airlines

According to today’s edition of “Il Tempo” recently Roma and Turkish Airlines talked again of a possible sponsorship for the next season. However, Turkish Airline’s offer was not accepted because assessed too low for Roma’s ambitions. Sources close to the club report that the Turks offered between 4-5 million per year while AS Roma’s management would accept not less than 14-15 million.

At this stage the gap between demand and offer seems to be unbridgeable. Roma also proposed to Turkish Airlines to become a “secondary” sponsor to show on the back of the jersey but the airline company refused.

We just have to wait also because Etihad Airways could be still interested in this sponsorship.
