Rabiot’s deal cannot be that one!

Undoubtedly this could be another great player for Roma and another great deal closed by Walter Sabatini. However, the details of this agreement appear to be untrue. I do not want to spread pessimism but I just want to let you understand that this deal cannot be closed as stated by the French newspaper Equipe.

Adrien Rabiot is definitely a talented midfielder that is actually playing in one of the richest teams in the world, PSG. His contract is going to expire in 2015 and for this reason Roma, Arsenal and Juventus are pressing Rabiot’s mother, that is also his agent, to purchase the player. Yesterday Equipe stated that Roma practically closed the deal for 15 million euro but this amount seems to be untrue. Yes, because no one would pay that amount for a player who will be without a contract in less than 6 months. In fact, PSG’s economic demand is very high but if the player does not renew his contract with the French club he could leave for free and get a higher wage.

In light of that said above, Rabiot’s deal cannot be that one! Walter Sabatini wants to close the deal but at his conditions. Rabot’s mother is pushing Roma to complete the agreement within Monday because she wants to understand the future of his son as soon as possible. Arsenal and Juventus are still competing for the young Adrien and for this reason Sabatini could present a bid to PSG to convince the French team to close this deal. However, the bid that Roma is going to propose is certainly not close to 15 million euro!
