Great start! Roma-Fiorentina 2-0

A very exciting match between Roma and Fiorentina that played really well in front of an amazing crowd.
A first half in which Roma properly managed the possession of the ball thanks to the quality of their stars. Fiorentina defended the result with two lines vey tight. Alonso and Vargas properly pressed Iturbe and Gervinho not allowing them to attack Fiorentina’s defense line. However, the first time that Brillante lost the ball in a possible counter-attack Radja Nainggolan triggered Gervinho that shot violently and after Neto’s opposition the same Naninggolan scored a great goal!

The second half began like the first one with Roma really close to score the second goal but Gervinho, although devastating thanks to his accelerations, missed an easy opportunity. From that moment Montella, Fiorentina’s coach, inserted Aquilani that together with B.Valero and Pizarro increased the quality of the midfield and create a few good opportunity for the “Viola“. De Sanctis has repeatedly saved the result demonstrating to be completely recovered from his injury. During the extra-time and when Fiorentina were totally in the offensive projection Roma have struck again with a great assist that Nainggolan served on a silver plate to Gervinho who dribbled the goalkeeper and scored.

Roma-Fiorentina 2-0 and Radja Nainggolan is my man of the match because he was able to intercept many balls, to rapidly counter-attack, to serve an assist for the Gervinho’s goal and thanks to his goal to unlock the game in the first half.
