Baldissoni: “To arrive at the third vote is never a good sign”

Mauro Baldissoni, AS Roma’s general director, has been interviewed by Sky Sport after the federal assembly which elected Carlo Tavecchio as new president of the FIGC. These are his words:

“It is not important what the AS Roma thinks about him but what he will do for the Italian football. This is the time to work. We will see…Neither candidate had an important support. To arrive at the third vote is never a good sign. Now the ball passes to those who must propose initiatives. It’s up to them to start the work…We expected Tavecchio’s election at the third vote and this is what is happened.”
