The powerful teams against the FIGC

We must remember well what happened yesterday because that was the day in which the most powerful Italian teams verbally attacked the FIGC.

Juventus, Roma, Napoli and Fiorentina have finally raised their voice against the Italian football system that has been destroyed by decades of disappointing administration.

Andrea Agnelli called Tavecchio, one of the candidate for President of the FIGC,  a non-authoritative” character. James Pallotta released a statement with which he said that “new men and new rules are needed” (full statement here!). De Laurentiis said that “the right profile is a young and modern president, someone with new ideas.” Also Della Valle expressed his disappointment for a football system that it is not able to renew itself.

However, the situation seems to be very intricate because Tavecchio is very supported by the lower leagues. The war begun, but maybe this time it could end up in a different way.

Fingers crossed!
