Seydou Keita: “I want to win here too”

Yesterday was the day of Keita’s presentation to the media and the experienced midfielder wanted to clarify some of his decisions:

Roma have always been a big club and they come from a great season. I want to help the club to be always competitive…The Italian Serie A is a very competitive league and the club and I want to compete for the title…I am 34 years old but physically I feel younger. We are athletes and footballers and we always want to win, it is a question of mentality…It is true that I have won a lot, but I will do everything to win here too…I have chosen Roma to compete on important goals…I have a one-year contract because I want to concentrate on just one season. If everything goes well the club and I will be happy to extend my contract. A year is a lot, there are 9 months of daily struggle.”
