Manchester UTD-Roma 3-2

Manchester UTD defeated Roma in the first match of the Guinness Cup 2014. After a good start Roma slowly was trapped in Manchester UTD tactic. Two goals of  Rooney and one of Mata let Louis Van Gaal’s team to close the first half ahead 3-0.

The second half was a different game. Both teams changed many players and especially Rudi Garcia put some of the most important players on the pitch. Totti, Pjanic, Nainggolan, and Castan gave more solidity to the team. Especially Pjanic seemed to be a key player for Garcia’s tactic. The young Roma’s forward Sanabria demonstrated his skills and impressed the crowd with a few great accelerations. Almost at the end of the match Roma decreased the gap by scoring two goals (Pjanic and Totti). The final result was 3-2 but the match wasn’t really great due to the poor physical condition of the two teams.
