The World Cup corner: Pjanić a good start, Messi protagonist

Data by Transfermarkt

Very nice match between Argentina and Bosnia Erzegovina in which two of the most awaited players have demonstrated their value, Miralem Pjanić and Lionel Messi.

Argentina did not play a great game but constantly kept the possession of the ball thanks to its offensive jugglers. Lionel Messi started this World Cup enchanting the world with his infinite class and speed of execution. He scored a great goal after having passed a couple of defenders and allowed Argentina to win 2-1.

Miralem Pjanić played in a slightly different position from that in which he plays with Roma. Sušić asked him to take over the team by handling the ball and demonstrating all his footballing wisdom. He he did it very well also thanks to the good performance of Lulić and Džeko.

Bosnia Erzegovina must be less fearful and Argentina must improve its defense line that seemed to have some problems.
