Sabatini’s observers are really all over the world, also in Australia where soccer is not the most known sport.

De Silva signed for Perth Glory FC in February 2013 and became the Club’s youngest ever professional player. He has represented Australia at under 17 and under 20 level and he has been able to impress a great connoisseur of football as Walter Sabatini is.

According to the Australian Football Federation Perth Glory FC is pleased to announce that terms have been agreed with Serie A club, AS Roma, under which AS Roma has secured the right to sign exciting young midfielder, Danny De Silva, at the conclusion of the 2014/15 Hyundai A-League season for an undisclosed fee.

Perth Glory CEO Jason Brewer said:

“This is a great opportunity for Daniel and is a clear indication of the talent that he has…

…To have Daniel remain with Perth Glory for the upcoming 2014/15 Hyundai A-League season, is also a great result for the Club and I hope that our fans will get the opportunity to see him in plenty of action this year.”
