Abner-Roma: deal closed…almost!

Abner Felipe Souza De Almeida will be a Roma player in 2015. Sabatini already reached an agreement with Cortiba for around 5 million euros, however, the deal will be closed only if the knee surgery that Abner underwent is perfectly successful. Sabatini did not want to risk buying a player with serious physical problems and for this reason the next medical visit that the player will undergo will be decisive for the conclusion of negotiation.

Abner will be loaned to another Italian club in order to circumvent the clause of the non-EU player that the clubs are obliged to respect. By doing so, Abner will be affiliated to another Italian club, and at the end of the season 2014-2015  he will return to Rome.

Abner Felipe Souza De Almeida is only 17 years old. He plays as left-back and, in Brazil, he is considered a talent with a great room for improvement. Abner has a stunning running, and a long stride as well as a good cross and a Brazilian touch of the ball, soft and precise.

If everything goes well as expected by Sabatini, Abner will be another young talent that will join Roma.
