It’s déjà vu once again as for the third time in the last four years, AS Roma have got to a European Semifinal and will play English opposition. The last two times it has ended in heartbreak in high-scoring ties, we would have to wait to see if this will end differently.

Roma travel to Leicester on the back of a defeat to Inter at the San Siro on Saturday evening. The unbeaten run in Serie A ended on the thirteenth game. Inter won the game 3-1, Denzel Dumfries, Marcelo Brozovic, and Lautaro Martinez scored the goals for Inter. Inter had the game won at halftime after the second goal from Marcelo Brozovic went in. The Roma heads dropped, the second half was about damage limitations, Henrikh Mkhitaryan pulled a consolation goal back five minutes from time.

The result at the end of the weekend was not too bad, also it is not the end of the world. With the crazy results from Serie A this weekend Roma still are in the fifth position. Both Lazio and Fiorentina lost to AC Milan and Salernitana, respectively. The downside is that Juventus won away at Sassuolo on Monday evening and the dream of UCL football next season is slowly slipping away
