Roma’s new General Manager spoke about his way to face an important new role in the Italian capital. Pinto knows that only a sustainable project can lead the club to success.
Nowadays football has changed. Each team had to reshape their business to address the challenges brought by the global pandemic.
The new General Manager of the Giallorossi is ready for a tough but exciting challenge, a project that convinced him to leave his beloved club, Benfica. But the conversations he had with the club owners convinced him to accept a new role and an ambitious project.
This is a medium-long term project. Sustainability is very important to win in the future.
Tiago Pinto said to the press, yesterday
There’s no easy way to reach glory. Great satisfactions always come after building a solid foundation. Pinto spoke about the club’s big ambitions and the need for collective work to be developed day after day.
The Portuguese director firmly believes in the efficiency of working as a team, all together to find the best options for Roma. Every club is looking to reinvent itself and although Pinto will be deeply involved in the transfer market, “I will always be in close contact with Dan and Ryan [Friedkin]. They will have the final say on things,” the club’s new General Director said.
All together to build a great Roma! Tiago Pinto has been working also with Paulo Fonseca to strengthen the roster in January as well. The Giallorossi have been doing well, but a few targeted additions would certainly be appreciated by the coach.
