The Italian talent could play close to Veretout next campaign. Pellegrini’s remarkable ability to make key passes may provide great benefits to Roma.

Pellegrini is on the verge of a possible change of role. With the arrival of the Spanish star Pedro Rodriguez and the captain of the Armenia national team Mkhitaryan that will likely play as trequartista, the Italian talent may be forced to drop down in midfield next season.

In the past troubled campaign, he had proved his ability to make many key passes playing in the proximity of the box and in support of the striker. Will he be able to make them as a pure midfielder playing close to Veretout?
