Can Roma make a bid for Everton’s Kean rather than going for Milik?

The Giallorossi are negotiating with Napoli for Milik but there’s another striker that may be a target of the Lupi. Everton’s Kean could be a good choice.

If Edin Dzeko will decide to move to Turin the Lupi need a new top-level striker to replace the Bosnian star. Reportedly, Roma is chasing Arkadiusz Milik but the club of Trigoria has not yet found an agreement with Napoli.

Former Juventus striker Moise Kean could be the right target for the Giallorossi if the deal for Milik falls through. The Italian talent is reportedly not for sale at this time and he had left Turin to join Everton just 12 months ago.

Although Kean made 33 appearances in the 2019-20 campaign, he played only 1,024′ minutes and scored 2 goals and 2 assists. His disappointing season does not change the perception that he can become a great striker, though.

He would be the perfect profile for Roma, a young talent with great physicality, technique, and with the possibility to shine and appreciate in value. Reportedly, Everton’s coach Ancelotti is not thinking about selling the 20-year-old from Vercelli.

But Moise Kean has been recently linked with a move back to Juventus albeit the new coach of the Bianconeri Andrea Pirlo is reportedly interested in purchasing Dzeko.

Can Roma make a bid for Everton’s Kean rather than going for Milik?

It may be an interesting possibility. Kean has already played in Italy and knows the difficult tactical aspects of Italian football. He could really find the perfect environment to shine in the Eternal City.
