Roma plans its next strategies to end the season well and to shape a new competitive roster. Schick may be ready to make a difference in Italy.
The Czech striker is doing great in Germany. His remarkable performance in Bundesliga should make the Roma executives think very carefully.
Reportedly, the Giallorossi want to trade Schick out. Many clubs seem to be interested in the talented striker but Roma has the opportunity to bring him back to the Eternal City right at the end of the current campaign.
Edin Dzeko (34) will need to rest sometimes and share the team’s offensive weight during the season. Although his first spell in the Italian capital has been disappointing, Schick may be the best pick for Roma at this time.
The 24-year-old Czech international made 19 appearances in Bundesliga and scored 10 goals with his current team, RB Leipzig. One goal every 110 minutes for the talented striker. If we take into consideration that he played an average of 58 minutes per game, his performance is even more impressive.
It’s not going to be easy for Roma’s sporting director Petrachi to find another young striker who may be able to lead Fonseca‘s side in the future. Financial constraints and a possible change of ownership could even make things more complicated.
Roma should bet on Schick again!
